Did you hear about Wheaton College and their efforts to fire a Christian professor because she said that Christians and Muslims worship the same God?

This is just another example of the fact that miracles happen every day. Thank God for second chances. I know Jesse Dalla Riva does.
By now you have probably seen this photo of a North Carolina couple, Caleb and Maggie Earwood, that was taken by wedding photographer, Dwayne Schmidt. The thing that has touched most of the people who have seen it is the story behind the photo. The couple wanted to have a word of prayer “before” the wedding, but they wanted to honor the tradition of not seeing each other before the wedding ceremony, so Caleb and Maggie held hands around a corner while Caleb prayed. As a Christian I can understand the desire to always be in Gods will. The couple was about to take their first steps together as man and wife. I don’t blame them for wanting to pray before, during and after the wedding ceremony and all throughout their marriage. I pray for the best for them.
I saw a story on the Christian News Network that talked about a prayer caravan for some schools in Alabama that had come under protest from some atheist group. The prayer caravan had the support of the school superintendent, Billy Coleman. It went on as planned to a record-breaking crowd. The prayer is on the video above. If you watch the whole minute and 22 seconds of the prayer you will see that all walks of life were there to gather in prayer for their schools and the teachers and students that attend and work in the schools. That is a beautiful sight to see. I’m sure that the Lord was pleased by this. Amen!

After seeing the video of the accident and seeing the plea for continued prayers, I said a prayer right away for Alexis Fairchild and Sidney Good and their families. I hope you will too.
High school class president offers Christian prayer at graduation and gets a standing ovation – video
I saw a story today that told the story of Jonathan Hardwick, who is the 2013 class president of Lincoln County High School. He offered a Christian prayer during their graduation ceremony despite the protest of some of the non-Christian students. His prayer was met with a standing ovation. You go Jonathan! The Lord is pleased that you had the sense to thank him.

Angus T. Jones of Two and a Half Men says that he wishes that people would stop watching the show because the people who are watching are filling their heads with filth. Jones is speaking from a Christian perspective and I can see his point. Check out the full video and make your own conclusions.
I was reading a recent blog post on Yahoo that talked about Tim Tebow’s recent GQ interview and photo session. The article said that there was a particular pose that might stir up some controversy; so you know I had to check it out. Well the photo at the top of this post is the photo in question. I get it, Tim Tebow, who is one of the most talked about celebrity Christians is posing shirtless in what could be seen as a pose similar to Jesus Christ on the cross. Personally I’m a Bears fan, but I have no problem with Tim Tebow raising the awareness of Christianity through his actions, words, and photos.

Dr. Mary Neil who is a self-proclaimed spiritual skeptic told the world this morning on the TODAY show what she saw while she was in heaven during her near death experience in 1999. Watch the video above. In the video she describes her time in heaven as being home. For those of us who believe this sounds very much like Hebrews 13:14 which says that this world is not our home. A 50-year old married pastor, Gordon Solomon, was recently arrested for having a two-year ongoing sexual relationship with a 14-year old member of his church. He is currently being held on $3 million bail. To make matters worse the news story says that there may be more victims. SMH. This is just sad.
Sometimes the news ain’t good. This is one of those times.
